This website does not save what you type into its forms. An enquiry opens WhatsApp or your email app with your message, and it reaches me directly. This page explains what personal data I receive, why I use it, who else may see it, and the rights you have under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Who I am

This website is run by Sourabh Kumar Pandit, a freelance web designer and digital marketer working from Delhi and Patna, India (“I”, “me”). For the personal data covered by this policy, I am the data fiduciary, which means I decide why and how it is used.

2. What personal data I collect

I only collect what I need to reply to you and do the work you hire me for.

Details you send me: your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, business name, current website, the service you need, budget, timeline and anything you write about your project.
Project information: if you become a client, the content, logins and account access (hosting, WordPress, Google Ads, Meta Business, Search Console and similar) you share so I can do the work.
Billing details: business name, address and GST number for quotes and invoices.
Technical data: like any website, the server that hosts this site records IP addresses, browser type, pages visited and times in its logs. Some services the site loads, such as Google Fonts, Font Awesome, jsDelivr and the Google Maps embed, also receive your IP address when your browser requests their files.

I do not knowingly collect sensitive data such as health, financial account or biometric information, and I ask you not to send it.

3. How the contact forms work

The forms on this site are not connected to a database. When you press Send on WhatsApp, your browser opens WhatsApp with your message ready to send. When you press Send by email, it opens your own email app with a draft. Nothing is sent until you send it yourself, and from then on WhatsApp’s or your email provider’s own privacy terms also apply.

The monthly tips signup works the same way: it opens an email you choose to send. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying “unsubscribe”.

4. Why I use your data

To reply to your enquiry, understand your needs and send a quote.
To deliver the services you hire me for, give updates and provide support after launch.
To send invoices and keep the business and tax records Indian law requires.
To keep this website secure and working properly.
To send the monthly tips email, only if you asked for it.

I do not sell or rent your personal data, and I do not use it for any purpose you would not reasonably expect from the list above.

5. Consent and lawful use

I process your personal data on the basis of your consent, or because you have voluntarily given it to me for a specific purpose, such as asking for a quote, which the DPDP Act treats as a legitimate use. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting me. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before, and I may still keep records the law requires.

7. How long I keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into a project are deleted within 24 months. Client project data is kept for as long as the project and support last, and then removed or returned on request. Invoices and related records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require. Account access you gave me is removed when the project ends, and I recommend you change those passwords.

8. How I protect it

I use strong passwords, two-factor authentication on the accounts I use for client work, encrypted devices and the minimum access needed for each task. No system is completely secure, so if a breach affects your data, I will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

9. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can:

Ask for a summary of the personal data I hold about you and how it is used.
Ask me to correct, complete or update it.
Ask me to erase it, unless the law requires me to keep it.
Withdraw your consent.
Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to.
Raise a grievance with me, and if you are not satisfied with my response, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

To use any of these rights, message me on WhatsApp or email me using the details below. I aim to respond within 30 days.

10. Children

This website and my services are meant for businesses and adults. I do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you think a child has sent me their details, contact me and I will delete them.

11. Other websites

This site links to other websites, including my blog sources, social media profiles and client projects. Their privacy practices are their own. How cookies are used on this site is explained in the Cookie Policy.

12. Changes to this policy

I may update this policy when the website, my services or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will also be noted on this page.
